Undergraduate Volunteers

 Kristin Toroella

My name is Kristin Torroella and I am a 2nd-year Biology student from Miami, Florida, following the pre-Medical track at the University of Florida. I joined Dr. Febo’s lab on November 2015 and my research interests are in the field of Neuroscience. I am particularly interested in the treatment of mental illnesses, such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s. In the hopes of later attending medical school and becoming a pediatric physician, I am involved in UF’s pre-Med AMSA and volunteer weekly at the Surgical Oncology unit at Shands Hospital.

Isaber Mor

My name is Isabel Mor and I am junior in the College of Public Health and Health Professions at the University of Florida, from Clearwater, FL. I joined Dr. Febo’s lab in the fall of 2016, and my research interests include Neuroscience and Psychology. I am member of the American Medical Student Association, Gators March for Babies, and Pi Beta Phi. I have also volunteered in the orthopedic, radiology, and surgical unit at UF Shands Hospital. After graduation, I hope to attend medical school to later on continue a medical residency training in Pediatrics.
